Mr. Lee has extensive experience in the real estate development and investment sector. He has been involved in transactions in excess of $200 million dollars. Prior to being a co-founder of Private Capital USA he has spent the last 25 years as a real estate developer and principal/managing partner focused on multi-family and commercial development in the New York and Florida markets. He was responsible for all aspects of the real estate process including origination, underwriting, financing, permitting, construction, property management and operations.
As a licensed Certified General Contractor in the state of Florida, Mr. Lee is able to develop and build projects that are unlimited in stories/height. He has been instrumental in creating value for his investors by developing and expanding his portfolio of residential, mixed use, and commercial holdings. He is currently involved in a project in Florida which is over 1.0 million square feet occupying a full city block. When the project is complete, it will generate approximately 1,300 jobs.
Mr. Lee routinely works with high net worth individuals and institutional investors and he will oversee and manage all aspects of Private Capital USA with its primary office in New York.
Mr. Finkbeiner has over 15 years of real estate investment, land development, acquisitions, building, underwriting and valuation. Prior to joining Private Capital USA he was involved in his family business of development/construction. He was in the private sector for 5 years with a series 7 license. He was successful in raising money for Facebook before it became a public company. He has also worked as an engineer/ designer, working on complex projects for publicly traded companies.
Mr. Chertock has extensive knowledge in real estate law and mortgage financing, having handled thousands of closings in the New York area. He has been practicing real estate law for over 25 years. He received his bachelor’s degree in political science at Alfred University and his law degree from the University of Bridgeport. He began his career at Zinman & Chetkoff as an associate, dealing with closings, contracts, court appearances, research, and other areas. He then moved on to form his own practice where he handled all phases of real estate law, including residential properties, condos and cooperatives, new construction, short-sales, mixed-use, multi-family and commercial property. He was formerly in house counsel for Interstate Home Loan Center, Inc., a company that specializes in all forms of mortgage financing.
Mr. Patti has worked with Mr. Lee for over a decade, finding deals in areas that most asset managers would only dream of. His father has been in the construction business for over 40 years and Jonathan has gained invaluable experience from this. Schooled in mechanical engineering and architectural design, he has led a global equity team in intermediate and multi-market research, from high net worth individuals to developers and builders. He specializes in structuring innovative solutions for complex deals utilizing outside-of-the-box strategies. He will assimilate all future client relationships going forward and will enhance revenues and profitability with his knowledge of all facets of operations.
Mr. Meinecke has been involved in construction for 28 years. He started his career as a carpenter, learning all aspects of the residential and commercial construction industry. He is licensed in several states as a certified general contractor, allowing him to build large commercial/residential projects. He has been involved in projects from Montauk to Manhattan to Florida. Throughout his career, he has maintained an impeccable record with various consumer affair bureaus without a single complaint. Over the past five years, he has been heavily involved in flipping residential properties, responsible for the rehabilitation of these properties from start to finish.
